McDouble Play
In the wake of the Kansas City Royals postseason success the McDonald’s McDouble Play promotion was making a comeback, but as for the ball club, not so much. So, in order to create a buzz we doubled down on breakfast by catering to hometown cravings, as well as celebrating the opposing team. Mockingly, of course.
To increase engagement with the games and get fans excited about free breakfast and baseball, we produced a variety of creative pieces reminding them of the promotion both around town and in-stadium.

Seeing Double

Every spring, the Kansas City Royals knock it out of the park with their iconic spectacular billboards hyping up the new season. To capture breakfast and baseball fans, we wanted to do the same with our marketing efforts.


To increase drive-thru visitors, McDonald’s national campaign had dubbed “breakfast, the most important meal on the way." We saw an opportunity to double up with our messaging.
